Calvary Presbyterian Youth Group is a caring family, which seeks to glorify God by sharing Christ with others, leading one another to a life centered in Christ, and challenging each other to serve everyone as a reflection of Christ.

We meet every Wednesday night in the Youth Room for Bible study, games, and worship.  Please join us!!

            Middle School meets from 6:00pm-7:30pm

            Senior High meets from 7:00pm-8:30pm

27th – Bullwinkle’s Family Fun Center trip – We will be leaving from the church at 12:30 pm and returning at 5:30 pm. Cost is $22 per person. The cost includes unlimited bumper boats, go karts, miniature golf, and rock wall, plus an additional attraction (laser extreme, virtual coaster, sling shot, screaming swing, batting cages, etc.) and 10 arcade tokens. Bring additional money if you want to buy food or more arcade tokens.

JULY

1st – Car Wash – Meet at Mount Rainier National Bank from 1-4 pm to raise funds for the youth group. Bring buckets, rags, and soap.

9th/10th – Service project

12th Lake Sawyer – Meet at the church at 1 pm for a day of swimming, water-skiing, and inner tubing followed by a barbeque dinner. We will return to the church at 8pm .

17th-21st – Vacation Bible School (VBS) – This is for 1st-6th graders, but we need your help with snacks, games, music, drama, Bible studies, and more. Both Middle School students and High School students are needed to help. VBS takes place from 9 am-12 pm every day this week. Sign up with Lane Eldridge (825-3949) if you are available to help.

19th – Blochunks Nite – Same time and place as regular youth group, but don’t wear anything that you don’t want getting dirty. Bring yourself, your friends, and a strong stomach!

26th – 30th – CreationFest – It’s a four-day Christian concert at the gorge in George, WA featuring bands such as Relient K, Audio Adrenaline, The David Crowder Band, Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, and Chris Tomlin. This event is mainly for Sr. High students, but is also open to families. The cost is $125 ($90 for the concert, $15 for camping, and $20 for food and gas). Money is due June 28th. Make checks payable to Please don’t let money be an issue; if you need help please talk to Lane, Stephanie, or Krista. If parents are willing to drive that would be fabulous, please let us know!!! AUGUST

7th-9th – Camping Trip – This is for the Middle School students. We will be heading down around the Astoria/Seaside area of Northern Oregon for a fun filled time. Stay tuned for more information.

15th – Service project – Sr. High get ready to serve. We will be heading…

17th – Tube Trip – We will are going to Flaming Geyser State Park for a day filled of games, tubing, barbequing, and more. Meet at the church at 11am . We will be back at 5pm. Bring your swim suit, towel, inner tubes (as many as you have), any out door games you’d like to play. If you don’t have an inner-tube we will provide as many as needed, so please let us know if you can come so we can plan accordingly.

23rd – Back to School Party – School is just around the corner. It’ll be one last fun splash in the sun. We will be welcoming in the new 6th Graders. More information will be sent out with place and time.
