Music & Arts

Below is a list of the many ways we use music and arts to enhance worship at Calvary .

Chancel Choir: Meets on Wednesday evenings in the church sanctuary.  We practice special music for Sunday morning services, concerts and special events.

Agape Ringers: Our bell choir meets on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year in the church narthex.  We prepare music for worship services and for an annual concert.

Children’s Choir: Our kid’s choir is part of our Wednesday night family program.  While parents attend classes, kids from preschool through 5th grade attend choir as part of their evening.  We select and learn songs and dance moves for worship service participation.

Saturday Night Worship Team: Music at our contemporary Saturday night service is led by a praise team including drums, guitars, vocalists, and other instruments.  We meet on Saturdays before the service for devotions, prayer, and rehearsal.

Sound System: This important ministry assists in both Saturday and Sunday worship.  Involves equipment setup and running the sound board.

Special Music: Our worship services include special music such as anthems, solos, and ensembles, as well as dance and drama.  These are opportunities for people to share their gifts, and bless our congregation through music.
